LEADERSHIP IS REQUIRED TO UNIFY OUR CITY AND ENSURE OUR ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL PROGRESS!

Please take a few minutes, read my platform, and give my candidacy consideration. While our community has seen some difficult days, I know our community is solid because our people are good.

Serving on the East Baton Rouge School Board, I have worked with anyone to serve everyone. As a result, I have been part of the team that has created the new Lee High School, has regained control of Istrouma High and is now rebuilding and expanding its programs and facilities, and is in the process of building a new career/tech school at Ardendale…all major achievements for our community and for our students.

I have led the effort to bring real transparency to the operations of our School Board. It took standing up to politics-as-usual; but we have brought a fresh, positive focus and energy to the EBR School Board. I have chosen to be a candidate for the Metro Council because it must be a constructive and competent partner in finding solutions to make Baton Rouge a better place to work and live.

Politics-as-usual will not build a better future for Baton Rouge. Sound, smart, well-intentioned, and honest leadership can make the changes and improvements required.

Thank you for your consideration!
